What if?
Have you ever found yourself reading the message on someone’s T-shirt without knowing you’re doing it? And then the message on the T-shirt is in your head, right? And you find yourself wondering how that particular thought came into your head until your conscious mind remembers you saw it on a T-shirt. This got us thinking: what if we could plant subconscious messages of love in the minds of others by putting them on a T-shirt?
The butterfly effect
The butterfly effect refers to the theory that small changes, even something as tiny as the flapping of a butterfly’s wings, can lead to large and unpredictable effects, like a change in weather patterns miles away.
Love is the great force multiplier.
Lovethreads was born out of the idea that if a single butterfly’s wings can change weather patterns across the world, then perhaps spreading positive messages of love can, over time, raise the collective energy of the world.
Love is all there is.
The divine in each of us knows that love is all there is, whether we consciously realize it or not. Our hope is that wearing and reading these messages of love reminds us of who we are and emboldens us with the courage needed to embrace our highest and best selves, even when it’s hard.
